Letter to T-Mobile CEO: Killing twitter will be a PR nightmare
T-Mobile just starting blocking twitter. You can get the scoop in the T-Mobile forum at Satisfaction.
In addition, send a letter to the CEO of T-Mobile, Robert Dotson at rdotson@t-mobile.com.
Here is a copy of my letter to Mr. Dotson:
Dear Mr. Dotson-
I, and many of your other T-Mobile customers, are experiencing an outage with a very popular Internet/SMS service called twitter. it appears that this may be intentional on T-Mobile’s part.
There is a small rebellion of customers that is sure to grow over time. You can find a sample of the ill sentiment proliferating on the web at Satisfaction’s T-Mobile forums:

In addition, the story is beginning to gain traction on social news sites such as digg.com.
Twitter, the service in question, is one of the core companies of the social web. This insures that ill-will against T-Mobile will surge virally across the Internet. Worst of all, these users are the key influencers in the mobile market. And many of these customers use twitter for business as well as pleasure.
I love T-Mobile. I’ve been a loyal customer for years. But perhaps it’s time to get that iPhone I’ve been wanting.
Please get twitter service restored ASAP.
Thanks,
John Holland
